First meeting

It is both enjoyable and useful to have a meeting over a cup of coffee to talk through how the dream can be realised. Think about what you would like for life in your timber building, whether you have found a favourite model, and what your budget allows.

Concept development

After the first meeting we have a picture of how the project could take shape. If you find your dream timber building among our core models, that is the most efficient solution. We also offer flexible adaptations or entirely tailor-made designs based on your wishes.

Site visit

We are happy to visit the plot together with you to quality-assure the drawings and the choice of model. Our experience from many previous projects, combined with your unique wishes, ensures the best possible result.

Contract meeting

Once we agree on the model, scope and price, we sign the contract. Together, we review responsibilities, the schedule and next steps. You are responsible for arranging financing with your bank. Responsibilities for permits and insurance are specified in the agreement.

Personalisation and selections

This is where we shape the details that make the home personal. Together with your sales contact and construction manager, you review flooring, wall colours and other selections and wishes. We refine the solutions over several rounds if needed. Once you approve the complete proposal, the drawings, delivery specification and room schedule are finalised for production.

Production

The timber shell is produced under controlled conditions at our factory. High quality standards are set for the materials and the production process. Every single log is carefully inspected and worked to fit its unique place.

Construction

Överbygg's site manager handles the construction process with all the agreed deliveries. Experienced assembly teams put up the buildings and ensure the quality. We take pride in delivering on the agreed date.

Handover

Once the building is complete, a final inspection and handover are carried out. You go through the building together with the site manager and check that the delivery is as agreed. When everything is ready, you get the keys!
